Dear bros , whats the highest temperatire u guys get while not moving on nuetral? Is 106'c temp normal?

 

Depends on how long you idle bro. In the normal riding I do, with no traffic jam, very seldom hit 106. Mostly 100 to 104 highest. But if it's a long jam and traffic is not moving for a long time, then 106 is possible, may even go up to 110.

 

What is your normal temp when you're riding on the expressway during morning or evening time?

 

A few ideas for you to check.

 

- When your temp hits 100, do you hear the radiator fan kicking in?

 

- Is your coolant reservoir topped up?

 

- When your bike is cold, remove the radiator cap and give it a visual inspection. Or ask a mech to do it for you. Is it in bad condition, needs to be changed? By right you need to boil the cap in water to check if the thermostat is working correctly, but just give it a visual inspection first.

 

- Look at your radiator's mesh. Are there a lot of bent fins? How many % of surface area is bent?

 

- One thing that I've seen before on BB, some careless mechs might switch the radiator return hose going to the engine, with the radiator hose going to the reservoir. Believe it or not, it was the mechs at the Honda agent who did this on my bike, and mine's not the only one I've heard this happen on. The tubes are the same size so it's easy for it to happen, but one of the clamps are larger than the other. If it is swapped, your bike will leak coolant when it heats up. Check it's not been reversed on your bike.

 

Let us know how it goes.

im back! yes bro, i tried liao. 1 side put agv (longer size) L size, and 1 side put HJC M size. confirm can!

Yo bro Thx for the info , after a few research and got my biked checked.... Realise it was leaking thru a small hole behind the Water pump ...... The impeller did not function and it cause the leaking and high temp it ever went up till 120'c , previously the mech forgotten to tpp up my coolant.... Got a free new pump frm the shop hehe !!
