Exhaust spray paint

Hi Guys

 

Anybody know where i can get high temperature spray clear colour lacquer/paint. I have only seen black and silver locally. Anybody know where i can get them? Ive seen online sites selling but aerosols cans cant be ship by air..Need to coat my slowly rusting exhaust belly while keeping the looks of it..Cheers

just normal hardware shop. they do sell it...

just normal hardware shop. they do sell it...i got my at $6.50 along Changi Rd.

it is RJ high temp spray paint.

They have 2 colour if i recall correctly, black and silver.

oh..black and silver is not clear,i have found those at other shops..im looking for transparent clear coating.. thanks anyway

Basically there's none in SG... I doubt it is useful as even though it may be heat resistant, surely it will corrode.. Just like a normal black high temp.

yeah it will corrode but proper regular maintanence will surely prolong its lifespan, im quite meticulous about my cleanliness and looks of my bike, dun mind spraying often but need to find the product first.

whats this spray for ? Why is it labelled high temp ? You mean the paint is able to withstand high temp?

You'll need a high temp spray coz your exhaust is hot. thats why u need a spray tat can withstand the heat.

I find those high temp spray useless. The paint just won't stay on the really high temp area, like the header areas.

 

Paint either melt off after several rides, or got flaken off.

 

Original paint still the best. Do not attempt to just spray over the old paint as it will melt off the old paint together with the new ones, leaving bare metal outside.
