I don't think the one I saw has all these features, lookwise like I mentioned before, exactly the same as the 200cc version except for the exhaust ie same as the one advertised on web.

Run-in wise, if u don't wanna follow strictly to the actual method, then just maintain @max 80km/h before your 1st 1000km servicing shld be enuf... :thumb:

Recently found something unusual at the rear wheel. There is a lot of sound (like some thing is loss) at the back wheel when I parked my bike on main stand and throttle a little to make the rear wheel spin. It can be hear even in a noise environment. Have send it to motor shop and they said this is normal and a lot of GTS have this problem and also they need to take out the pipe and fix it :giddy: It will cost me 50 buck :sian: I just wondering is it true as I know the motor shop owner always TIPU me one :sian: Anybody know if this cover in the warranty as my bike still got 2 months left. May b can fix it 4 free. If it’s not cover on the warranty anybody know where I can find good motor shop which does not TIPU ppl one? :help:

I just found out recently that the warranty is 1yr or 10000km which ever comes first.. It was not 1yr unlimited mileage as promise by the bike shops earlier.. But the the SYM guys are still doing us a favour to help rectifiy the problems for us..

But do u have similiar "problem" too? Cuz I treated it as a problem at 1st but after I went to Mah and FS, both were saying that it's becuz of the material of the brakepad that's causing the noise, which is norm and it takes time for it to "season". But I'm already riding up till 4500km and it's still there, so I also duno when will it actually "season"... :giddy:

I also have the sound it sound like a 'chu chu' train.. But after i done something (which i cannot remember wat) now there is no more sound...

It's inside this thread, but I can't remember which part of the it did I find it. I guess you'll have to dig up on your own. FYI, I've spent alot of time reading this entire thread from start before I bought this bike, hehehe... :cheeky:

thanks a lot. actually i have also when thru this thread last sunday. :giddy: :giddy:

like going to fall sick.

so what is your mileage now.? and what are the accessories you recommend

Posted

My mileage now is about 4500km. Recommend? I think it all depends what you want. If you'd like to "beautify" it, there're lots of things you can do depending on how creative you are. If you want performance, then you've gotta see how much $$$ you're willing to spend on it... :cheeky:

Wonder can GTS 250 can dress up like RV 250 such like LED signal light in side mirror, remote control for box and engine start up ?

That's no lonely soul or lonely night in somebodycare.com :cheeky:

I think mirrors are possible, but need to import. Don't think so for remote control for box (or seat if that's wat u mean) and engine start up... :goodluck:
