thanks for the advice. I actually had the belt n rollers changed but maybe they never do a good job. Heng Motors sux bad man.... Any good place for our bikes besides MAH?? How abt FS???

But I think you shld be able to feel that your bike is better than before right?

i had my engine oil changed b4 3000 km. but when my mileage went over 3000 km, oil change warning lighted up!!! y is tat so?? is it becos de engine oil wasn change properly

Hi there

 

I had mine done at FS. After the change of belt n roller, I can feel more power n riding was smoother, pick up also improve.

 

Remember to gat the air filter change as well cause it must already be vey dirty n fuel cosumption will also rise.

It is in fact a 'built in timer' that lights up went it reach certain mileage as a reminder to get oil change.

 

You may depress the buton to have the reminder removed.

Take some time to go and read the manual, you'll understand abt your bike better in terms of its functions and what to look for when it comes to maintenance.

thankz buddy! i found it! is it ok 2 use fully synthetic engine oil wen my mileage is 3000 km ++ i wana change! i find tat de free engine oil de bike shop is providing not gd enough!!

The 250 is EFI? The taiwanese are on par with Piaggio by offering FI, makes lots of sense to me .. more efficient and less worry about carbs problems decided that my next two wheels purchase will be FI ..

Can u see if it's leaking anywhere? exhaust smoking? For the maj, if it drops to too low a level, the oil change light will come on. But if you change oil every 1 -1.3k, it wouldn't be a worry as it will not get low enough ... but then it is a concern why it's burning oil .. what grade of oil in there? 30w or 40w? Specs for our climate should be a 40 weight.

I onli see leakin on my left side black plastic cover ther (on the top part of the bottom black cover). Was told its air filter oil. Nvm one... But everytime i wipe clean, 2-3 days later will have liao...

 

After 800km of travellin dipstick left 1/4. Grade of oil i dunno cos Asphoon change for mi free one.

 

GTS 250 should be high 7k or low 8k OTR ba....

Left 1/4 after 800km! I hope you replenished it by now. Did you go back to bike shop and claim their warranty? Oil in the airbox is normal blowby from the crank but I don't think it should be that much till it leak through the airbox ... do get it check and think we should not hijack the thread eh .. this is SYM not maj ..heehee ..
