Who's the agent for SYM and any idea if they have plans for the 250? Thanks.

It's Mah Pte Limited. As @h_LoNg had mentioned, the 250cc models are in the market for some time already.

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

It shld be ard the range which @h_LoNg bro has mentioned before. It's better for you to give them a call or dropby to enquire, this shld be the best and most reliable answer you will get.

Thanks .. be good to have an indicative price. That's alright, they are round the corner where I work, no rush as I don't intend to change wheels :) but thought I compare price between the euros, jpn n twn makes. Will drop by someday.

You're welcome, hope you'll get a good quotation plus some freebies from them or any other shops you're going to.

A new SYM GTS200 owner coming out next week. Greetings guys. Just ask 2 questions :

Original Accessories Add-ons :

1) Is the oil cooler good or not?

2) The air intake that looks like an exhaust... any difference in performance it makes?

Thanks.

Wait till I achieve my objective.... I will be back with a more powerful engine and a more sexy bike......

The oil cooler and air intake exhaust look alike are GTS 'Original' accessories ? or after market accessories?

I think it's good as it helps to reduce the engine oil temperature

It's an air filter, I haven't try it but heard from some other scooterists say that it does bring up more power. How much more? I duno... Hee...

Yes bro, they're after market accessories, not necessary to be used on a GTS, I've seen them on a few X9s too...

Riding to thailand, I think the GTS can "make it" without problems... bah....??!!! IF only the speed can be maintained at 70% engine power max. The onli thing I am thinking of is probably if my butt can take the ride.... lol. Anyways, its a wild plan... not sure if wanna go or not yet..

Thanks for the info about the aftermarket parts cause MAH told me its original.... I havent fix decide whether to fix or not.... yet, but sounds quite cheap when they quote me. Both for under $400.

If u ever ride a big bike.. Now change to GTS and thinking of going thai.. Then i think halfway there u will really really wish u have a bigger bike..

Travelling at 100km/h with lots of stop is ok.. The bike will be able to make it. But where will u find ppl that will travel the same speed with u? This forum quite cruel de.. And unless u can tahan >12hrs on the road to thailand then no problem man.. Please please please bring your tools + extra belts along.. And NEVER go for any other belts other then the stock SYM belts. Even if ppl tell u its from the same manufacturer.. Cos the 'teeth' is totally NOT the same.. :giddy:

yo boss, wats the comfortable cruising speed for the gts200?

is the speedometer accurate?

I'll help to answer since I'm riding one... :cheeky:

For mine, 90kph to 100kph is comfortable enough, 110 kph (NSHW min speed limit) can maintain as well with little stress to it. :cheeky:

Speedo so far so good, neither did I hear any complains abt inaccuracy from other GTS bros...
