For low interest, I really duno that. I got my bike from Bike Production. Everything the guy do, goes by the book. Not bad at low interest. You need to scout and need field survey for which shop to choose. I believe each shop carry their own finance company at different RULE!!! and interest. I like to point out is that to warn newbies "RULE of finance alway benefit the company and the shop, be sure to ask, ask, ASK!!! and ASK!!! as much as possible for all "Rule and Regulation""

I do feel like I'm repeating myself in this thread??!!! Nevermind, newbies dun bother to check and search. :sian:

I got a light accident this morning, my right signal lamp broke and the plastic surrond also broke....dun know should I repair at malaysia or not.

You can just buy the signal light cover if your signal light is not faulty. Very cheap, less than 10-15 bucks i think. Rather than pay $400 bucks for it.

Err.. that is for the signal light. If you need the headlight cover, they dun sell it separately. Thats from what i know... Can try check out with SYM service ctr.

Big Problem I have??!!

Not much lah!

1) Small Fuel tank 8.5L (Cant help thinking how to go long distance to north Malaysia)

2) Stock tyre (Taiwan) worn out easily and slippery when wet, BE CAREFUL!!!

3) Parts and accessories Geez... Got to have original, monopolise by Ban Hon Brothers, selling very $$$EX then paggio. Most thing not compatitable except for spark plug, tyre, brake pads and battery.

The cons are the item 3, if only Ban Hon sell cheap parts at a lower cost, poeple in Singapore will FLock together and buy Joyride and all got there for servicing. Not only Ban Hon will stand out much better then Tai Hin and HKL but it can also have a stable market since its monopolise the SYM product. :sian:

Btw, Update for KennySeaw and the rest of you. Finish servicing at HKL for $170.00

I feel abit EX$ but worth it lah, as in happy with their service. New mechanic, humble type and didnt ask for it name. hee...

Went to HKL, ask for full service:

Engine oil, R4 ($20)

Gear Oil

Belt, If possible, malossi or paggio ($75)

Roller, If possible, malossi or paggio ($30)

air filter, If possible, KTM or paggio ($30)

clean oil filter

Half way after 2hrs, Ah bee call back... Cannot have malossi or paggio, can only used SYM original parts :sian: and also very $ex... :sian: Parts not suitable for belt, roller and air filter. :faint:

No choice lor, bike already open up on surgical table, die die must get parts, put back and sew up. Got to HKL, paid $170.00 and saw all SYM plastic bags (torn). Bike got restore power, same acc and speed like a new one. Not bad, see what happened in the long run.

Just to let everyone know, before we had an SYM agent in Singapore, it was the Ban Hong Bros who first brought them in. So if you have bought your bikes other than Ban Hong, they will most probably check the no plates first before charge you a bit higher for it if you didnt buy your bikes from them. Advice is: Better check first from who you bought them from... before deciding where to send.
