Hey how about using automobil EOs for scooters?especially Energy conservation ones.i'll only collect my bike maybe next monday..cos i Lack just 1k more cash,damn!!It's grey and already waiting for me at the bike shop!with a damn ugly number.My new bike comes with prominent scratches near the pillion foot peg,tho the salesman agreed to change that piece when there's stock.

 

The boss didn't allow me to owe him that money for 3more days.even wanted me to take up a loan.Say even if i dont take 1st can put as display at the shop.So nieo

I was at Sunrise ripping up my Joyride transmission system...

Found out that our Joyride parts cant fit Malossi parts....

Tried to compare the Torque driver, clutch plate, torque spring, roller weights... None fit!!!!

Managed to find FSN parts (from Hongkong mag) that has size to fit Joyride...

Anyone interested? I asked a few motodiams, they dun import unless got more ppl wanting to fit the parts...

Hehehehe... Ok lah bro, ur number not so ugly lah. Hehehe... Saw it the other day when I collected my bike. Nice but same problem as mine. No IU, no box (This one ok). But my number and your number very far liaoz...

 

1 k also they don't let you take the bike first ah? WTH man. The log card still with them what. Aiyahhh.

 

Anyway, I asked the fella about my IU and he told me it will take at least 1 week. I'm beginning to lose my patience already with them. How nice if there is "No Law Day" just for 1 day in Singapore. I'll be the happiest and busiest man on earth that day U know. Anyway, once you take out the bike, maybe we can meet up and have some coffee or something together with the rest.

 

About Roadmaster's suggestion to do the IU on my own, can bro but the problem is, when I bought the bike, the IU unit is already included in the price. So if I were to do it on my own, for nothing I will have to come out with $150 minus the bracket. What to do bro, Guess I will have to leave my home at 6.45 am lor to go to work for this 1 week or so. BTW, I start work at 9 am Bo piian......

I had been searching several motodiams but they do not import from HongKong or Taiwan....

Do you guys face problems with the speedometer area getting some kind of water condensation?

Also do you find it tough to use the kickstarter?

My coolant is also like vanishing. Not at a drastic rate but it's rather noticeable after a week.

 

Are these common minor problems?

My speedometer dunn have this problem. May be ur jr is the older wit the lower windscreen so when it rain, the rain contact is easier.

The kickstarter is rather difficult to start. I use the kick starter 2 weeks once as to not lose the function of the kickstarter.

My coolant i change to Maxima bought it from race werk. Seem going well

Pump my bike full tank lia and got 0.5L of petrol on the foot pedal Don’t know how 2 use the pump press 2 hard . Thx for all bro for advise on pump.

 

BTW going to JB this weekend. Got a few question 2 ask all Bro rider

 

1) Does the ¾ tank rule apply to bike to?

2) Do I need a cash card in order 2 enter JB?

3) Any place in JB where I can buy bike thing?

1) Nope, the 3/4 tank rule does not apply to Singapore Bikes.

2) If you enter thru Woodlands Checkpoint, no need. If you want to enter by Tuas, yes you will need it bro. BTW, just in case you enter by Tuas, standby some Malaysian Ringgit too for the toll there.

3) What do you actually want to buy there bro? Stickers also bike thing leh bro. Hehehe.

You can try ivan shop(if i'm not wrong) at holiday inn just behind the taxi stand. They sell sticker and some helmet.

Roadmaster bro, I have a few questions to ask.

 

Firstly, is it true that scooters cannot warm up before you go? Because the salesman told me so. I find it quite funny actually because from what I know, it is good to warm up your bike for a while before moving off.

 

Secondly, When you warm up your bike for a while, does the rpm goes up and down (unstable) like that? Coz mine do leh.

 

Thirdly, what is your rpm when you travel at say 80km/hr?

 

Lastly, your temperature usually stays at 1 bar or 2 bar? Mine when on the move is at 1 bar but when stop for a while, the temp will stay at 2 bar until I move again. Scared fan not working liaozzz

 

Can advice me on the above bro? I'm very new to scooters leh. All the way ride sports bike liaoz...

Yeah i got my bike today.pretty comfortable i'd say.crosswinds didn't affect me much,and quite good handling.Brakes are pretty touchy thanks to the steel braided hoses.Usually the Rpm is around 6.5 at 90km/hr.But that differs with load(pillion) or gradients(slopes)one problem about 2B bikes.

 

The low speed acceleration is great.But from 60 onwards feels like theres no acceleration at all,during up slopes too.LoL my RPM can sometimes be 6k-7k and my speed is still 90.Usually i move off at 6.5k RPM since its the peak torque.

 

I noticed a weird vibration when RPM above 7k or 1/2 throttle open,its would be felt as quite rythmic and pulses.And the plastics and seat material quality urghh and i don't like the chrome exhaust too!

 

Main stand is quite easy to put up.But the pillion has to spread wide,no more skirts

 

A question for the knowledgable,do you change mineral EO after the 1st 500km of running in?For my R1,i changed mineral oil during the 1st 500.Then semi syn at 1k,2k,then full syn at 3k.

Mine's the EFI wor. Got diff in windscreen size ma?

Where do u live ah? Every 2 weeks U help me kick start too can or not?

 

Coolant change sounds major. Can old coolant be mixed with new coolant? or must flush out all the coolant before refilling?
