Suprisingly with pillion this bike needs 245Kpa(2.5kg/Sq cm)at

I also made some calculations and remove some weight from the bike to improve the Acceleration.

 

Now that i've lost some riding comfort in exchange for a restoration of the bike's performance~90km/hr @ 6.75 kRPM,80km/hr @ 6.25..

Aceleration seems pretty reasonable :bouncefire:

90 @ 6.75?? Hmmm.. For me if i can reach 90 @7k i happy le.. Sometimes i cruise at 80@7k. My weight is 55 my gf is 40. Wonder wat u do.. Pump my r.wheel 245 but still the same.. Where u go service ur bike? cos the mech in southern also like can't be bothered to do extra.. haiz. :mad:

btw, do u all feel that ur bike seems to be faster if u slowly acelerate to 7k instead of full throttle to 7k.. mine seems to be like this.. like the gear will be stuck at the lower gear and not shifting up.. :giddy: Too much class 2 then drop to 2b is not a good thing.. Haiz... :weep:

Better to check with the agent (stock and availability) first then fix.

 

Cause if u read thru the thread someone screwup the bike while trying to do some 3rd party signal light at the mirror. :smile:

 

Heard that original signal light(mirror) and fog lamp might/is coming in SG.

I only know motorworld if u wanna get the super heavy one i think about $40 like that :smile:

 

Maybe there are other shop :cheeky: but so far i only know motorworld at ubi there (i know how to go but don know the add)

ya i think they have a 2 or 3 weight sizes there (flush or non flush)

flush - the balancer will sit on the outer rim of the handle bar

 

non flush - with a washer stud thing that suppose to fit into the handle bar (better if fit nicely into the handle bar)

For auto bike like ours, you cannot jammed the throttle hoping it will accelerate faster, in this way, you are forcing the engine but the speed will not pick up.

 

What you can do is close throttle n accelerate again, it will pick up much faster, you may repeat this if you need higher acceleration, I am doing this all the time n it work. :smile:

 

I am doing 90km/h slightly below 7K. :cheer:

Both serve the same function/stability base on the same weight and size.

 

It only differ which fits better on ur bike need to try then know

As mentioned in the tread above, all bikes got it's pros n cons.

 

It's a taiwanese bike. Engine wise, well, they used to provide engine to Honda's EX5 n Wave. They even launced Hyundai Elentra n Matrix. They also obtained ISO 9001 certification for motorcycles and ISO 9002 certification for automobiles. Pls dont trust me, but trust the SYM website .

 

If the bike is no good, i would dare to ride up to penang all by myself with my gts. But time will tell, depend on how the owner take care of it.

 

As mentioned before, so far so good......I'm 1 of the proud SYM GTS200 owner...... :cheeky:

Anyway, please let me know if the heavy balancer sold at motoworld could fit out Joyride... Mine's the stock silver one.. too light, not very stable.:goodluck:
