Hi bro, the Royal Purple oil is gooooodddddd :thumb: I must say. The bike felt so much smoother and 'lighter'. I tried to use R4 on my GTS during my 2nd oil change but it felt kinda 'heavy'. U can try it if you want too bro in your next oil change. I'm using the 10w-40w type. It's good.

And bro Kenny, if you happen to read this, the Royal Purple EO review is good bro for me.

hmmm... in tat case ... my next oil change i will try it.

i just change at 1800km... when is the recommended oil change ar?

As for me, I changed my EO at 300km, 1000km,, 2000km and my next one will be at 3000km. Subsequently, I will change it every 3000km to 5000km I guess.

Hey bros...

i'm back. btw, how's the audio blast last sat??? wanna knw more... like any tips or ideas that can be added to our bike.....

Didn't go for the Audio Basting ah bro. Had an engagement ceremony to attend. BTW, how's ur trip?

Talking about the audio system, I'm drooooolingggggg to fix one onto my bike but no budget yet. I asked once and was told that a normal system would cost me about $450 to $480. A fantastic one, huh... only god knows. Planning to fix up an audio system and an alarm onto my bike.

Went to Xtra (Southern City) last Sunday with my wife and really felt bike was unsafe although I locked it with 2 cable locks. When I went to a shop there, was told that the towkay's 1 month old Toyota Wish™ was stolen the day before at the same carpark during a heavy downpour. Suddenly remembered my father's bike which was lost at Carrefour Plentong during a heavy downpour a while ago. Kinda scary. So thought of fixing up an alarm system, not to prevent but hopefully as a deterrence and a turn off. :bouncefire:

Not meant for the faint hearted hehehehe

The JBL van is one like a mobile disco cum cinima machine. Just imagine if i am not 7 10K plus amp inside the beast WOW.

I am also very tempted to fix up the Audio but scare voiding the warranty thats all and still experimenting where and how to fix it nicely oto the GTS (radio placement, speaker placement, moulding position bla bla bla and lastly the peanuts)

GuoZz myself and Yzf_R1 was there ! nice meeting them but i think we r losing one GTS rider GuoZz real soon :weep:

Actually i BTH le.. Sent my bike to kenny's ytd to fix the system already..

Peanuts wise is on the high side comparing with those normal system that u can fix from Sim Lim tower. But i feel more safe(for the bike) to fix at kenny's cause he is sort of pro with scooters. As for alarms i not too sure yet. Cos at the audio blast, i hear the alarm like not very loud.. Won't do much for ppl who is determin to steal the bike. Still thinking bout the alarm thingy..

So when the system will be up

Very bery eager to heard how it sound on our GTS :lovestruck: Did you do moulding

Peanuts can earn back lah but if get something @ halfway mark and when u regret it will cost u more peanuts

Wise choice

Unless u just want some sound then maybe a basic system is good enough

Yup.. Did the moulding.. Its the moulding that makes kenny headache.. Cos he say our GTS cover maybe too soft.. May not tahan the weight. Heng its not me having the headache now.. Headache at his shop as to where to place the speakers and wat to get.. Now i pass the headacheness to kenny. The bike is still there.. Not sure when to take also.. Cfm can't be today cos i working afternoon shift till 9pm~! Eager to hear the sound myself too.. Coffee on day of collecting the bike? TO hear the sound and see the moulding..

was at kenny shop just now.. just got back an hr ago...

fix alarm, air-horn and voltmeter.

the alarm is nice... loudness still ok la... i arm n disarm downstairs just now still audioable from my room. probaly late at nite very quiet ...

i had tis sudden urge to install it on monday after i found my sym panel.. the one on the bar above the brake light area... kana tampered with.. one corner the paint chip off badly n centre part also deep scratch.. probaly from a sharp object..

to comfirm my suspicions.. i went over to take a look at the other GTS200 below my block. that GTS200 is silver color one...always park in the same area... and to my horror.. his panel is missing!!!~ :giddy:

btw yzf_r1.. saw ur bike back at the shop just now... moulding done already... and keeny was running the cables fo the sound system while my alarm was being fixed up by his mechanic. make mi so tempted to set up on mine too... :lovestruck: will go down n see ur system once its done...den see still can resist the temptations a not..

first time i see my GTS insides... but quite a job to dismantle everything. so i decided to fix up the voltmeter horn n alarm at one go.... if not one by one fix on different days... very ley chey.. take quite some to dismantle n fix back up the GTS i must say. :cheeky:

fixing of the alarm drag a little later after the closing hrs.. but kenny n mechanic was very patient and finished up the job.. felt so pai sey for delaying as i got there late for the appt to fix up the alarm. any way kenny thx a lot. it was a job well done.:cheer:

Guys anyone wants to meet at Kenny's shop tmr as Yzf_R1 will be going to kenny's operating theater to make some improvement on the audio. I think around 3pm, i will be there at 5pm after work

So far our GTS group have still not had a proper outing or meet. :weep: So can we crack the egg.

Anyway i went down just now and saw Joyrider and we both had fix up the XXL balancer and all i can say is "STABLE SIA" i risk a bit to speed up to 120km/h n what i can say feel nothing man hehehe even with the box.

It's a must do upgrade. Place this in ur peanut saving project list.

Got the Stable magnum Horn also hehehe can horn like a car now  shiok

there's a cat, n she sleeps on the pillion seat every nite wihout fail n very clever too, can really squeeze its body as i always cover my bike.

So, i'm wondering, if i install an alarm on my bike, will the cat trigger it in the middle of the nite??

Must see how sensitive u set the alarm. If u set it to high, no 1 can even touch ur bike.
