Here's the report (slowly for surely).. let's me start with the pic first.

Of my trip around Central Tibet in a CJ750 sidecar.

I'll let the picture do the talking. My bragging will come later when I can find the time.

Location : Central Tibet, China

Bike : Chang Jiang 750 (CJ750 Sidecar)

Bike Facts : CJ750 is a replica of the Russian Ural Sidecar, which in turn is the replica of the German BMW R71 with Sidecar

- Fly Shanghai to Lhasa

Interesting! Nobody actually sits in the sidecar?

 

I am planning for a trip in November and am looking at Tibet. Do you happen to know of any motorcycle rentals in Tibet?

if i have a partner crazy enough like me.. yes i can carry a passenger in the sidecar.

you can't rent a bike 'legally' and ride in Tibet and in China as a whole.

especially in Tibet, you need to do in with a tour group and get a temporary riding license.

international license is not recognized in China.

you can book a tour of the the mentioned group in Shanghai or various others from Nepal or India.
