Hi hi.

 

Need clarification on Roller matters:

 

The original rollers have 2 sides, 1 with the metal exposed and the other covered more by the external material.

 

So, when placing the rollers, which direction should the metal side face?

Clockwise or anti-clockwise?

 

Reason = some ppl say got no preference but yet some say wrong direction will spoilt the variator?

Have a quick ??? about my X9-250:

Very recently, the R signal light has developed a haphazard behaviour of coming on and staying on and dissappearing as mysteriously as it had appeared. It does not flash when it comes on, but it just stays on. Any one have inputs on this phenomenon? Do I need an exorcist?

not a problem at all, x9 180 even go up to Thailand already. But ofcourse good maintenence need to be done before going

What's yr current tires? do consider michelin gold standard,most X9 are fixed with that and comments are mostly positive.

i thought that most of us have dropped our x9 before.

 

my question is, after u have dropped ur x9, did u do something to it, to cover the chipped off paint? what are the best ways? spray paint only...?

If slight chipped off,then maybe use touch up paint or can use stickers to cover up.But if evo then mirror gone.

if drop from stationary position, the mirror still can hold but good luck if it's a skid ..

 

hmm..this one got to depend on luck already .

ever saw an uncle's evo dropped in multi storey carpark while trying to get off from mainstand,the mirror arm snapped immediately.

Hi, hi.

Just nioticed that my fuel guage deviates slowly by 1-2 steps every now and then, ie. when stop at traffic lights, it'll climb up steadily or might drop 1-2 steps when travelling.

Sometimes the reserve light will come on at 370km and sometimes just 345km... with the same petrol level refill and riding habit.

 

Any idea if the fuel guage can be cleaned or I've just kana a comon x9 headache and it can't be corrected (unless buy new guage)?

 

Advise?
