i have Unworn Arai face pad giving away free, reason is not suitable to my current Signet RR ( too long from length, can't fit in ) so might as give it to others... i also dont know what is this cushion for which arai helmat ( think it for astro ) anyone want it jus let me know...

I m mostly in Bukit Batok / Jurong Area when i m down in Sinchiapoh (my homeland by the way) but can commute anywhere to drink kopi or eat Roti Prata. But i prefer where parking is safe and free !!! My present is EURO SW400 and i opted for the 2006 version !!! Why ? Tell You when we meet !!!

Hee Hee Hee ! Yes would be fun to meet. These few weeks i will be in the west a lot - around Pasir Panjang Port / Jurong Port - very convenient location would be the McDonalds at West Coast Park or thereabouts. Otherwise anyone one got suggestions ?

 

Bear in mind though that this week and next i would be glued to my TV between 9pm and 11.30pm watching GIRO ITALIA cycling live on EuroSports Channel. That is my passion and has been since i could walk.

 

Any other time (even working hours) no problem !

Better i tell you all first before someone explode with curiosity !! It seems that after the 2006 production that the factory change some of the parts suppliers and still going through the process of diversifying source & assembly. This means that QC has to start from scratch !!! Anyone in manufacturing of machines will agree that the first few batches always have teething problems !! All you have to do is put a 2006 and 2007 side by side and look and compare - you will immediatly notice some cosmetic differences.

 

Dont know about the 2008 - but i heard and read in this thread that some shops already got !!

... warranty is 1 year or 10,000km which ever comes first, some bikers half year warranty oredy bo liow

... many bikes got warranty voided because of "mods"; fitting an alarm or even grounding can potentially void warranty, best is to take out if going in for warranty repairs

... why mod? stock bike is best, dun liow lui lah

... iridium sparkies? no need lah, normal ones can oredy

They also states "Insist on Honda Warranty Card from your dealer or receive 3 months additional warranty if registered online."

And you mean warranty can be voided if "mods"? Put alarm also cannot? If I wanna change the horn to a louder one also can void warranty?

bid min $1k, then pay $300 to replace existing reg nos., then pay to change nos. on bike. then its more $$$ n $$$ n $$$ when changing bike...

 

~ if pass nos. to buyer... 心痛 heart pain, then gotta rebid all over again

~ if transfer to new bike... gotta pay $100 to use the retained nos., still ok

~ if getting a used bike... gotta pay $1.3k to replace existing nos. on used bike. if buyer also wants to keep his nos., gotta pay $2.6k to effect a mutual exchange of nos.

~ if not getting another bike... retained nos. is only valid for 12 months from de-registration, can extend only 2x 6 months & gotta pay extension fee $1k + admin fee $20 for EACH extension (sibay gian $$) after 12+6+6 months & paying $2k +$40 for extension, LTA "take back" nos. L L gotta sell nos. before that

Is this shop very popular with S Wingers? Is it a good place to get the SW

maintained? How's their pricing and where is this shop located?

* warranty 1 year, unlimited mileage... as long as not wear-n-tear, can go round the world

* mods definitely CAN void warranty, depends on how bike is affected (very subjective)... beware

according to andrew, there're cases where "additional" electricals (e.g. alarms) short-circuited the bike's ECU, horn/PA cause excessive drain on batt, etc.

 

i going in for checkup soon... dunno should take out PA/grounding or not
