i face this problem too !! my bike only 1 yr 3 mths..but other then the recheck, no problem with the bike..sometimes have, sometimes no have..funny lo..

:btw: i reset my v-belt light already oso, cos change belt already ma..then tot will not happened liao but still doesnt go away lei..

anyone knows the solution ??

The manual state the first 500km. Do u guys follow that?

1997 - Honda Steed

1998 - Suzuki Bandit V

1999 - Honda Super 4

2003 - Fazer 1000

2004 - Citroen Berlingo / Honda XRV750

2005 - Nissan Sunny

2007 - Nissan Sunny / Silverwing 400

never. hehe. cos i kaisee. i change straight after i took out the bike cos sent for hard run in.

Just bought a SW 400 FZ plate in dec 07 ,my christmas gift for myself. Fz is Euro model or jap ? sorry new to this Honda bike,use to ride a forza 250. pl advise thank

Now: Silver Wing GT 400

2s: paggio hexagon 150, Honda helix 250, yamaha majesty250, Honda forza 250, paggio x9 500,Silverwing 400 JDM,Silverwing 400 euro, Silverwing GT400.

Check on your handle bar and see whether there is a "T" mode switch.

 

If there is, yours is a JDM model.

 

Another distinctive area is for Euro model, ignition key is at the centre of handle bar without the key hole cover, unlike the JDm model.

July 2004 to Nov 2006 X9 amalfi

Dec 2006 to Jan 2010 Honda SilverWing 400

Feb 2010 to Nov 2015 Honda Fit

Dec 2015 to Oct 2017 Toyota ISIS

Feb 2017 to May 2017 Honda ST1300

Jun 2017 onwards Honda Silverwing 400

FZ plate should be a Euro model. unless u sway sway got the last few pieces of the JDM ones.

Bro, dun be so direct leh... No doubt JDM models are less powerful than Euro ones, but they aren't bad as well. At least mine tia your previous burger400 before. :lol:

haha... some people just can't take it.

wat i mean is tat, my friend had always wanted to get a Euro version one. since he already bought liao and not knowing did he buy the correct model, if he really got the JDM one, isn't tat consider sway? ha ha........

 

talking abt u tia me b4, aiya, should have tested whose backside can last longer on a long long journey. cos the burger 400's seat has been the most comfy. miss tat bike man. too bad its been exhausted by his owner. times up, got to go.

wah...this gonna be fun, i jus came back from ride to Phuket only. Already very tired liao lo..chiang mai is like WOW !!

ok, thank for all the info about sw 400 JDM or Euro. I prefer Japan made, my forza 250 was from Japan. Not really care the High power. Just want save petrol as oil is getting so expensive!!! Need to go JB to pump petrol. This bike can travel for 400 km for 13 litre. Which timing is best to go JB without jam with malaysian bikers?
