I don't know if all matt black materials will be like that. It's just what i heard from ppl only, and u are actually my first real example lol.

Anyway for sticky stuff usually i use zippo to clean. If u use thinner or petrol the paint might come off.

someone pcc into your helmet?

anyways, thinner will make the paint come off, try using detergent? wash dishes kind.

Nope, the ony way is to literally stripped the paint & re-paint it.

Cos the matte coating's gone case, there's no way to reverse it. Its one of the cons of having that surface.

Happen to know it because of what had happened to my ex-Arai Goth Tracker.

In the end, send it to the shop to have it re-sprayed gloss back.

If you still wants to salvage it, the best bet is to change the coating, & fast.

Hi all, anyone having the same problem and has a solution? My AGV Blade helmet outer shell coating had become sticky. I bought it as matt surface. I used it less than 10 times and store in the bag in my wardrobe for about 1 year. I used turpentine but i can't rub it off. Anyone got any idea? Thanks!
