Hi there,

Have been looking to upgrade my bike for some time now and have some interest in the new Honda Deauville NT700

I found some info on the Boon Siew website at:

http://www.3jships.com/boonsiew/admin/prod...uvilleNT700.pdf

I also found some posts on the old model Deauville 650 but I am looking for more info on the new bike.

If anyone can share any info, that would be great

Cheers

Steve

Anyone got any thoughts on this bike? seems that there are not too many in Singapore?

If there are any owners out there I would love to hear your thoughts

Cheers

actually a friend of mine bought the bike a couple of months back. the feedback from him so far is that it's a very comfortable bike for commuting around in. he has yet to travel up north with it. maybe u can let me know what are the informations that u are looking for and i'll ask him on it.

just to add, he feels that the bike may lack the power u get in other street or sportsbike.. but still that's how the previous Deauville was. It's more about comfort rather than speed..

i think it will handle touring rather well cos it comes with tall screen and also comfortable seats. crusing at 130 to 150 shdn't be a problem for a 700cc bike but that's based on assumption. if u're talking about speeds above that, i think we will have to find out from the owner of one.

actually i never really go for high speeds touring before so i also have no idea. i just thought that about 140kph on expressways will be a good touring speed? or do ppl usually go higher or slower on highways?

seems like this bike is a very relaxed bike to own, if it's built like the older deuville, the fuel consumption should be quite good for a class 2 bike.

actually touring speed differ depending on the riders... some people like to take it easy, some like to get there fast... my friend has yet to tour with it yet, he's been riding to work with it everyday.. but it's a pretty expensive bike.. it actually cost more than a FZ1..
