If the 1st place we visit that bro sensible_x8 friend mentioned.(old colonial house).Than i think we can meet at changi village for dinner.This trip will push to july cos our bro Brownkai having exam on this month n we need time to plan.So guys pls b patient.:cheeky:

Hi peeps

 

My bike is experiencing some screeching sound while braking.

 

It happens when i depress my rear brake.

 

Hmmm, do you think the workshop can do anything about it?

think could be ur brake pad dirty ba. experiece dat previously but problem solved after i wash my bike n the rim of the wheel.

YUP>.......that's the common problem.......:cheeky:

 

anyway if you use orginal brake pads, it tends to be more dusty hence will need to wash more often lor.....:cool:

yep... but i do feel the screehing sound show tat the brake pad very sensitive and very " jiak" ... hehe... now my bike no have the sound liao...

 

Oh ya...sensitive_x8 b4 you wash ur bike.... use something tat can blow air at high pressure tru the pad n disc(I do it in bike shop)... to blown away those dust... after tat then wash...

hmmm... I actually have the same thing happened to me... I did check with my mech say its normal due to the disc brake plate reason ? actually b4 fixing the tyre okie one.. can push normal spin... then after change liao... it doesnt move full turn.. sure got one spot kana stop...

Need some seasoning ?

i tot so too - that it need some seasoning; so after a week of the tyre change, i can still feel its there especially when goin at speed in excess of 80km/h - can feel the teg..teg..teg

hmmm... at 80km/h got sound ?? mine case is going at slow speed can hear the metal scratches sound think cause at the rear plate... during the day cannot hear cos too noisy... but in the nite when i ride alone I can hear the sound around 30-40km/h... haiz..

dunno good or bad... o_O

 

update me more if any possible reason... thx

Actually i felt that too...

its coming from my front tyre..

 

esp at night when its all quiet, same as Brownkai..

aiyo... Maybe the joints area need some oiling, perhaps? :faint:
