Where to locate the water coolent and change or add water??

-below the handle bar on the rite throttle side... Need to just unscrew one screw to open the cover... turn open the cap n waalaa... take note do not open when the bike is hot while travel...

changing wise u need to open the underseat...I not sure which one... check with ur mechanic...

Batt water where to get or how to change?

-is located in the front of the underseat, need to remove to screws to open the battery cover and waalaa... use touch light to shine in and check the level...usually not need to open everytime.. once top up.. 2/3 mths check once or just top up since u open liao...

Tyres when to pump air and how much to pump?

-Front 210-215

-Rear 230-235

usually if theres pillon onboard always pump more abit than usual...

Brake and throttle maintainance?

-Brake hard to explain... can see the top of the calipher check the gap between 2 metal... if too close mean need to change...

another way is to feel it while u grip the brake lever... if too soft anf the brake to stop take longer as usual... it show some sign tat the brake also wear out liao...

-throttle if to hard to twist or dun roll back to normal position... spray some DW4(lubricant) at the side of the rubber...

How to safe fuel?

-pump only 95/98 fuel only...

X8 actually has a pretty good FC... can hit 26km/l to 30km/l

for me highway 90-100km small road 60-70km, FC for me is 28/l some times 29/l....

Lastly a Big Welcome to X8 and scooters family... enjoy the comfort ride and big storage... yum! :thumb:

normally those that we get from gas station are already diluted which is jus nice.... never buy those concentrated type unless you intend to dilute it yourself.... mixture wise not too sure/....

concentrated type can easily spolit your battery as it's pretty acidic..... a bit of it on your hand, you will feel itchness at least for a few minutes....

btw for coolant wise, once you have flush your coolant system and new coolant had been added, all you need to do is check the water level ensuring that it doesn't fall too low..... and top up with normal water can liao.....

coolant flushing wise, reccommended abt 2 times a year.....

coolant flushing means draining all the coolant that was on the bike away and flushing it with water till clean water comes out from it. Then close the water pump area to prevent water from flowing out and top till almost full.... Only then you add the concentrated coolant which is normally abt 1-2 caps of it.....diluted coolant i not so sure liao.... but come to think abt it, if use diluted ones, think you need at least a few bottles......

hi x8ers. long time never visit. hehe. anyway, does any1 know whether our horsey can diy hazard lighting? any problems w batt? just wandering can diy or not else sent to "plastic surgery" docs :)

and another thing - i noticed from mine and other x8s, our (wat do u call it?) red lighting is a tad too small. other than changing the bulbs to led, is there any other methods u guys do or add to have our presence on the road a little more obliviuos to other road users?

not you, not me :thumb:

Hazard light not too sure but think you are talking abt the brake light based on how you described it.

Actually, no need to add extra stuff to it. From a distance, the light is pretty visible. If you want it to be super bright, then add the leds lor.... another way is change the sockets for the "brake Lights" to all 1157 type..... which means all the 4 brake lights will always light up once you start your bike....

another way is buy a strip of led (red) and connect them either to the Dual brake light(1157type socket) or to the immient brake light(think it's T10 socket) then you should be able to get what you think you want.....

Thanks

There are couple of reasons...It could be:

Poor timing

Very dirty air filter

Worn out carburettor rubber manifold

Have it check bro...I think it's jus poor timing. U're bike new?

my moto: No one is to be left behind...
