theres quite a number of 2nd hand X8 ard... only thing is must wat for good deal and condition... so patient man...

Then after Firestorm screwing and poisoning my mind for 2 consecutive nights, I found a good deal. I am sure my new bike will be of no stranger to you. Hahahaha.

Hi all X8ers:

 

I have just bought a second hand X8 in January. However I have encountered some strange problem with my scooter. The rear wheel wobbled with some ker-ke-ker-ke sound coming out from the engine, while the bike is travelling at low speed or going up the hill with low gear. I sent the bike to Southern Motor in Bukit Merah and the mechanic told me that the "engine arm boost" is spoilt. Any body know what is this actually. I have no idea what is this thing for. Anyway the problem disappeared after I have changed the new arm boost(cost $120). But after a few days, the same problem appear again. So I guest the root cause is not the arm boost, but rather some other reason which has caused the arm boost to be damaged. Any recommendation of good X8 mechanics? I am thinking of joining you guys on your outing and let you

guys take a look at the bike and give some comment of the problem.

 

Your help on this issue is much appreciated!

if the sound came out from the engine ... there must be a problem...

 

from wat u decrible... ur bike need a good check up...

hmmm.... bro, based on what you had mentioned, this might be a case of mounting issue rather than "engine arm boost"..... look at your rear tyre thread, is it wearing off one side more than the other?.... if so , most likely it's mounting issue..... anyway, best would be join us for the makan session and we can crack our heads together and see if the problem can be identify....:p

I woke up this morning and i kept thinking I have something on tonight, but I couldnt recall what it was, until I reached the office and went online. Haha.

Yes...its a great outing indeed, very lively and everyone is interacting!

 

well a outing shld always aim for more kakhis the merry it is... thou i was prepare for the worst expecting only a 3 or the most 5 persons for the chill out(even a small group is fine)... Its great to see the lao jiaos to pop by for the chicken wing too... I think the main attraction =====> Chicken Wings loh! :thumb:

Haha. Nice outing guys. Being the smallest cc bike there was kinda fun.

Could have been there earlier if not for firestorm who suggested such a complicated place to go. Ended up he sent me to 'Holland'.

 

And ups! for the chicken wings. I managed to eat two. Hahaha.
