bro titanic....hows your fc like?

when i wanted to get my bike, it was a choice between a scram or a scoot...

but being big sized, i decided to go for the x8, cos i've heard that scrams guzzle petrol like water.

imagine when i found out tw200 fc is like 30-35km/l...hahah wth.

I din compare my fc consumption before and after installed my PA2,.... i only noe full tank normally can go up to 300KM to hit the reserve light on. After hit the reserve light on, i backside itchy and wanted to test my X8 c how many KM remaining go until empty tank.... but only dare to test go for another 20KM plus....:cheeky::cheeky:

Think my next modification should be install HID...

i oso dunno got promo on the Broquet bro, hahaha!now den u tell me..lol

so far, there is significant improvement in the fuel cunsumption bro..there is also a better throttle and power response after i drop in the broquet in the tank.now my only problem is the leakage in my headlight seal, blady basket..now must remove all the original silicone seal and wipe the condensing water behind the headlight..

by the way ah,anyone got any lobang on RPM guage pricing and installation kindly do PM me.

Thanks and ride safe bro..

bro djebel, let me know how much it costs?

and also, do they need the programming key? (red/brown key)

cos i only have 1 key when i took over this bike...thanks

Will let u know when i go duplicate bro kenshi. Went to botak to change engine oil and belt + roller also some servicing today...cost me $260. I find it abit ex, wat do you guys think?

Posted

Dont worry, you didnt get chopped bro....unless other bros here manage to get a better price?

Its $220 for the full servicing, and $40 for the clutch i think... or is it $220 including the clutch servicing? This one the other bros here might help u clarify...Hahah...i cant remember...did he do anything else?

In my opinion, Botak is definitely not cheap, midrange in terms of costing....but he really does a pretty thorough job. U might wanna try future or taihin the next time ard, and make your own comparison...as far as my noobie goes, i believe these are the better shops around.

and bro djebel, if im not wrong....i think i've asked the regina keymaker before when i just got my bike...$40++, and i was fresh out of camp, so didnt have the cash to do it...

Thing is, i forgot to ask whether it can be done without the programming key...hahah...and i even went there twice.

Hi all. Need some comments about the Michelin Gold Standard. I just skidded yesterday when turning a corner. I don't know what causes the skid. My rear lost traction and I fell to the ground. I checked my tire, theres still thread on it, haven't botak yet. Check the road, no sign of oil spill. But the road is not the normal tar one. So, I was thinking of changing a better tire for better grip on all kinds of road conditions, raining is an exception. I was wondering, how the heck did my rear tire lost traction... Dear all, please advise...

Sorry to hear of your mishap bro..Actually there's no rocket science to the tyre theory,it don't matter what tires you're on really.Even if you're riding on a Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa, if your tires aren't heated enough you'll just fall off too..riding on a hot day is safer coz your tires heat up better and the compound offer better grips. All road going tires will only offer minimal rain riding capacity inclusive of any threads that may suggest otherwise(race rain tires)

I heard that Michelin Gold Standard is quite grippy also but i still preferred my own choice of tires.I'm riding on a Pirelli GTS 23(F) and Michelin Pilot SC®

Always keep your pressure in check and tyre condition before riding.

Ride safe bro..
