does anyone can recommend a good and reliable paint shop for respraying the entire bike?

Hi

Just got a X8 200cc on Monday. For about 20 year never ride a bike now trying to get use to it at my car park and some small road.

There is some scratches on the Left side of the protection panel (silver plate) which is an eye saw to me! Intent to change it, any idea where I could buy a used /new one? estimated price for this panel.

Im also riding a x8. I doubt u can get any panel for it. Best way is ebay or try paggio see if they can get.

 

If not try respraying yourself.

Respray is bit difficult as I had not much time to do it.

 

BTW on my left side handle there is two button, on is for horn and the other is for ???, can anyone advice?

I try pressing the button can't tell what is it for?

OIC just call the workshop that sold me the scooter, it has 1 month warranty. told to snd my scooter to check.

No problem. Pressing it activate the solenoid and unlock the seat. U should hear a sound when the button is pressed

 

Best is to lift the seat and press the button.

Thinking of install led light with add switch to "ON and OFF" when on darker road as my scooter is all black. Is it OK? Any advice and comment?

I do around 80. 90-100 kind of wobblely

Finally get the problem fix (button to open the seat) by the workshop for free! Cheers :cheers:

 

Was told by the mechanic and boss try not to install LED lights as the TP will fine $70/90? and get you to remove it. when on inspection will not pass!

 

At this moment still trying to get use to the scooter around 50-70. Saw from web some x8 owners stated, it is very steady on 100km/h??

Probably due to the large box behind. I get smack by wind alot

mmmm.... i usually ride about 110km.... still pretty stable but once cross 120km it feels wobbly

maybe you can fix an extra brake light behind, atleast you would not get fine, Cheers.

Normally X8 will not wobble when travelling speed around 80-100 unless strong wind. You may wanna check out the Tyre pressure, engine mounting or steering cone. Wondering when was the last time you service your X8 front fork oil? it may affect too.

Actually bike not wobbling just that I get wind coming from both side alot.

 

Today had a late night and was going at 90-100 without my wind breaker on. Felt better.
