well.. as i replied to the previos thread tat i made the mistkae on not look hard enough..

 

finally the NEXUS 500 CAFE so hapy to see u guys..!!

 

so any of u guys plan long trips up to malaysia ? or did anyone try riding up? maybe KL?

 

 

 

brembo.. the changi nexus sounds really tempting... i hope when i m back in july it will be ard...or something...

get 1..it shld be fun..a nice bike to ride on the tracks n twistes n tour wif..but if touring only then u might like to consider other makes...single cylinder engine rather weak...

 

wif 460cc goin up n dwn KL n a few rounds in Sepang shld be a breeze..even my little runner had been up to KL a few times wifout problems

 

BUT a class2 scoot at 460cc it is also 1 of the smallest engine around

Brembo a quick question how much is a new nexus??..there shld be a hugh diff between the facelift nexus than the current one provided if it really comes in right??

spy, the nexus is not coming in at all i guess. but if it coming in it will cost 1 to 2 grand more then the current series.

1. there is a shiftment in the engine which resulting the in better weight distribution.

2. the new FI component make the reving and pick up more refine.

3. there is a minor facelift

4. its new

Sparks bro...glad you got interest in the Nexus...

Like Spy bro said is true, single engine is kinda weaker then it main competitors.

but no matter the case I clocked at least a 170kph on NSH, normal touring speed of about 140-150kph has no prob and I could corner hard on this machine...as the best that could describe the Nexus: its a scooter that eats corners...

 

I look forward to another Nexus rider, we could try Mersing or Cameron together.

 

if you are interested to get the Nexus from changi, remember to ask Wilson to give you a new coat of paint at your choice of colors.

Uncle currently riding a Honda CB1300, decided to give clutch bikes a rest and go for automatic ones. Power is very much a major concern for him, so 2b/2a scoots are out. He wants alot of low and midrange power, which I believe cl2 scoots can easily deliver?

 

Cost of said scooter is not an issue, can handle cl2-bikes cost of maintenance, but wants a reliable scoot. Any recommendation for a reliable powerful scoot? Think storage space isn't much of a concern, seeing he be putting a box anyway.

Get a silverwing 600 or burgman 650, both scooters are quick in pickup and can go above 150km/hr. Affortable spare parts and reliable.
