Bro, in this thread, as far known riders who rode both AT and Vara are our capitain, ATwin(David) and Stantheman(Stan)...both of them are the best person to seek wisdom from..

Basically, AT is 750cc while Vara is 1000cc.. Atwin is lighter... Vara is NOT so light..

both are Honda, so can be said as 'bulletproof'.. both uses the same fuel pump.. Vara consume more due to its more 'power'..

btw, why only these two models? any other considerations?

i would consider a beemer but i alrdy gt 1 pulsar n an opc car..hehehe. i need a good ridin-postured bike coz i fractured my hip b4(bike accident) so AT, Vara n Fazer r into mind. I dun tink i can handle long distances wif a busa or blackbird for dat matter. Strangely enuf, Vara cost cheaper than AT. Once i get a Vara, im lookin forward to join u guys on ur tourin sessions :D

Guys.. Will update u all on the next meet up. Maybe next week friday as Stickers are ready for sale and already allocate 20pc to VARA kakis.. To be fair, All sticker thats are not sold will be open to others k..

Each cost $5 in which $3 will go to purchase of stationary (A sml Notebook, Pencil, Eraser : All pack as 1 set). will purchase as many as i can as i plan to get the items across the causeway so hence $150 sgp = RM$330ish.. that will be Way PLENTY than i can fit on my panniers but will be just good to fit in them *thats why stickers are limited*. Just dun ask where and why $2 deducted frm the $5.

I cant comment much becoz i downgraded from Vara to AT. I miss my vara while riding the AT hahaha. Both are very comfortable tourer. AT is lighter and consumption is lower where else the vara is heavier and consumption higher. Power and stability wise the vara can beat AT hands down so every drop of extra petrol burn is well worth...

True enough AT FC is way better then Vara XL 1K. my Vara clocking 430km for a 25L Tanker.travels mostly Xpressway. a Vara is a solid machine which i dont know how to explain.but a Fri short Kopi chat should be able to solve it bro

Bro, here goes..

Aftersales service from the shop; which shop will credit their promises during negotiations. if anything should happen that is.. the last thing you want to do is to fork out cash to do up the repairs when it could be coverred by guarantee by shop. Wic shop do you have a better relationship during your scouting?

Which year are the bike models? how many owners prior?

A bike with fresh COE is always nice.. more lifespan... Installments wise should always be affordable.. as the bike consumes petrol more than an Atwin, every bit of cents and dollars is impt if you calculate economically..

btw, jugding from the info you just share, i assume your age is below 26.. less than 3 years riding experience.. Am i right? RU trading any bike of urs for a Vara?
