Don bother going back there.. Motodiam CARROT u big time.. cost less than $90 max to service carb..

 

Just went to boon siew n got lucky≧▽≦ the old tech in very good mood n used his lunch break time to look at my vara who is having back fire problem and told me the problem right away! Now is to get home after work and change the exhaust pipe gasket n see if it work!

Zzz just spend 4hrs fixing my exhaust pipe's gasket. .. out of 5gasket I only found half existing gasket. .. no wonder the bike cry father cry mother la. .. finally fixed the backfire problem >_

by the way , where is the meet up this friday? Same place as last meet up?

Last one I know of was an 06 model that had sat in Boon Siew for 3 yrs, so I guess you will have to look for a "Pre-Loved" one, don't be put off by higher mileage, means little on these bikes, service history is more important.

I think he is right, never seen a 07 onwards vara in Singapore b4, or does anyone else seen it b4?

i heard there was an 08, but not confirmed. Saw used carb models on sale, but cant seem to find a used EFI one around. Hmm.. i wondering why..

 

Was looking at a Vstrom too.. Sat on a Vara and was immediately sold. Still think i'm still a honda man....

The Palmer adjustable screen mounting for the FI Vara is now in production. I will be ordering two sets soon, if anyone else is interested then please let me know by Fri and we can save a bit on shipping costs. NB this is for FI 03 -> models only.

Thks Niall ...i think i ask zac to pick me up since he stay near my place. Just back from our Northern thailand trip yest nite. Lucky we reach Hatyai one week earlier, if not we will stuck in the town. Highest flooding record so far in Hatyai, i think reach almost 2 m depth. Town was totally in the mess & we have to cut short our stay at Hatyai. Covered most of the interesting place & will show u guys our trip photos on Friday nite.....

My Goodness... Its been a while since we ROXK sempang with long tables one after another... chairs here and there... Bike inspection...gossip here and there... never ending EYE CANDY... latest waitress in the house... but nothing beat than meeting OLD and NEW BRUDDERzzz...in short.. its was a SPLENDID TCS today.. i enjoy every moment of it. till i drive only 2 hrs..hehehehehehe ya all \m/
