Bros, VARA has not have an iftar( break fast ) event yet in this fasting month. Shall we hv one soon? Bt instead of doing a normal sit down mkn, fancy a BBQ cum break fast event? Pls provide feedback if u fancy dis idea.. Will be posting an invite page if response for idea is well received..

Anyway the bike front wobbles like mad during cornering. i'm guessing the usual suspects, steering bearing, rim bearing or my tyre needs to be replaced. Any bros noes how to isolate this issue? sorry if i sound like a noob...(i AM a noob).

To check if cone bearing problem, Ride smoothly In straight road and release both hands. Dun Ride too fast jst enough for self to be confident. If wobbly like hell, problem identified.

 

For tyre problem, ask mech to do rebalancing.. Ride agn to see diff.

If u push bike in reverse and it's feels heavy, means wheel bearing needs a change..

 

Check if rim shape if affected, if warped nid to send for repress..

 

Or wheel surface irregular roadburn jst nid a new tyre change..

I always solve my bike problems with 3 Letters....HKL...hehe..look for ah san..his ol' hands I trust. I vouch for that ; )

 

Btw, any brudders need original Skid plate/ bash plate replacement(metal & plastic) replacements due to warping/discolouration do call me. I hv in store, very good condition.

Original Skid plate on Vara1K? I brought mine for $135, H&B. Ar.. EFI model comes with it? I noob too.

seems like wheel bearing or front tire to me.

Check your tire pressure first... maybe not enough air.

the suspension also do play part...it might b too soft...

Guys, still no response abt iftar together... Though the Muslim riders in VARA is small, this event is open to all cuz it fosters closeness amongst us.. Esp for riders like myself who sorely missed the 'Loh Hei' event during CNY due to unavoidable matters, this gathering wud be one more better than the average kopi meet-ups..

 

Will create an FB invite soon to see if response is good and also for bros who seldom post/visit this thread..

Bro, I think Bro Niall used something similar to this. Can try PM him. Biketech selling something like crampbuster but looks much better and lesser risk of jammed throttle.
