i know of this rule, but i totally dun get the rationale. somebody needs to explain to me why a few renewal kills off the bike, and cant renew in 5 year blocks. road tax oso can renew in 6-month blocks instead of 1 year.

damn lucky, Sep last year renewed COE for another 10 yrs, heard now had increased to almost double.

same no limit. but i dont think any1 will want to do that the coe and road tax will kill u.

All of the above + u must met all required standard---passed the inspection.

If the authorities tighten the standards n u can't afford to make good or conform

Reasons you might not want to renew is that the bike model has become obsolete and parts can't be found anymore, making repairing impossible or not worth it. COE might also cost more than the bike itself and the scraping value.
