Hi All,

Does anyone here know of any shop that can repair dent on fuel tanks?

I am a victim of a hit and run situation last Saturday. My bike was parked in the HDB motorcyle lot, covered. When I went down, I noticed that my bike was moved out of the lot and almost kissing the next bike. To my horror, the next bike is my neighbours' bike and its left mirror was broken and its tank was badly dented with deep scratch marks on its left side.

I removed my bike cover and discovered that my tank was dented on the right side, headlight knocked out of position, front fender badly scratched, brake lever pointing skywards due to landed on the other bike.

My left fork brake cable holder also broke, which showed the culprit whacked into the the left side of my bike and caused my bike to collapse to my neighbours bike. His bike had also collapse to its right and hit a kupchai, which also had a bad scratch to its side panel.

The culprit had picked up our bikes and placed them upright before he fled. All 3 bikes were very much placed out of the parking lot positions.

My neighbour and I seldom ride and our bikes are always in the same lots, so the question of offended other fellow bikers is out. I think that damn bloody f@rker was either drunk or lost control of his machine.

So it happened. Bo pian, suay lor. The sinking feeling is that I just had my fuel tank resprayed less than 2 months ago !! Now I hope can find some shop that can repair the dent without respraying it.

Thanks for reading.
