baby gue nya speedmeter dah mampoz. dier stay pat 0km/h je. pelik sey.. fuel, lampu semua working. cuma speed je buat perangai.

 

gue cuma notice tadik pagik.. on the way to work. :pity:

 

pastu, all the way... bawak moto tak tahu brapa laju. :weep:

 

haiz.. besok kene hantar pi doctor lah. sedihnya. bankrupt gue. :cry:

I am Zippy Zip, some call me Puyuh, some call me Ugly Duckling, but my real name is Piaggio Zip 125 :)

 

I started my journey from Rawang at 6.50 am on 26/01 (Friday) on a very cold morning heading North. As my master still do not know how to ride a scooter properly he averaged 90kmh and found it very hard to overtake a lorry at 110kmh. Later he learned to tuck-in like he did on his busa (I hate the big fat bike, he loves her more than he loves me) and I can easily overtake anything that travel at 110kmh....

He reached Tapah at 8.05 am and met up with gary (FJR1300) and Mervin (Royalstar 1300). After his usual Wan Tan mee breakfast he refilled and made his way to Sg Perak R&R. On this stretch I am more relax as we passed Ipoh and the Jelapang tunnel when he whacked me open..managed to get >120kmh downhill :)

After Sg Perak he rode me at 90-100km up to Grik and at 10.50 am we were already at Grik (see pics). That's means 4 hours from Rawang including breakfast stop and refills..not bad eh..for a distance of about 300km...well 284 exactly....

Finally we reached to border of Pengkalan Hulu at 1200 noon and proceed to the duty free complex while waiting for Mervin to catch up 20 minutes later :) Then they both went to made the clearing for passport and bikes paper..the usual stuffs...(see Import Paper pic)

It is very convenient to have a scoot in Betong to moves around :) He even managed to pillion several ppl there..muah ha ha...I went to the hot spring for the first time and the road is excellent...the nights and mornings in Betong is very very cold...but I have no problem when he starts me up..he did checked on my engine oil level as he is a very careful biker but not a bit of oil I consumed...he rode me here and there and I can see a lots of neon flashing lights and activities going on at night but that's another story...

On Sunday 28th we left Gary place at 10.30am as I have promised to catch up with 4strokers from Penang at 11.00am at Pengkalan Hulu. On the way there he stopped-by to pick up his busa ICP...

When we reached Pengkalan Hulu Petronas at 11.05 the whole big group was waiting and having teh tariks and I can hear hoos ahhs...seeing my master on me (the smallest cc bike around)..muah ha ha...

We proceed to Grik about 11.30 am and reaching the Rest House at exactly 12.00 noon and was greeted by the pengantin himself and  wait..and wait..later on we convoy to the wedding house :)

The food was marvellous ...burrpppp....my master say... :)

I started to move at 2.30 pm and reached Sg Perak R&R at 3.17pm. The weather is very hot and bright...and my master full throottle me all the way...averaging 100kmh....After refilled and a cig break we proceed to Ulu Bernam and reached there at 5.08pm...where I met up with the two ZRXs again (well what the heck..same-same lah... big bike small bike..reach home same time..muah ha ha)...see pics....it's an hour home from there and I reached home at 6.20 pm...

My master say thanks to all the great company...Gary, Mervin, Burn, Amir, Tok Mie, Tok scoot, Tok Wan, Mart, Zahir, (the gals at Betong :) )and all friends from the North as he could not remember all the names because he is a poor old forgetful fella...

Tapah R&R 8.18am 1536km - 3.09 liter @ RM5.95

Sg Perak R&R 9.31 am 1617km - 3.25 liter @ RM 6.25

Grik Petronas 11.00am 1715km - 4 liter @ RM7.63

 

28/01/07

Pengkalan Hulu Petronas 11.00 am 1832 km - 4.63liter @ RM8.88

Sg Perak R&R 3.17pm 1975km - 5.70 liter @ RM 10.95  :-o

Ulu Bernam R&R 5.10pm 2120 - 5.74 liter @ RM 11.02  :-o

 

So total distance home-home is about 820km @ 26km/liter

Total fuel is about 31.5 liter @ RM 60.55

 

Best mileage is 34km/liter at 90-100kmh on early morning Rawang to Tapah...

hey fiz aku nyer speedometer pon taruk 0km/h jugak..aku nak tukar cable pon malas ah beb,tak salah aku it cost belasan ah....tk tukar pon boleh,kalau TP tahan kau tanyer kenapa kau bawak laju,kau cakap lah im riding at 0km/h!!
