realized my front right brake finishing soon already. Just ordered a full set of Galfer HH brake pads from ebay. $103 gone.

 

will let you guys know how it performs. the front left and rear like still got abit more. might as well just change out all of them while i'm at it.

Yup. Was a little reluctant to get HH for rear but then since this bike is rear heavy, not too worried abt locking up the rear.

 

Front both side i order the same. Both front are same (size and shape), only that the OEM left one has half the pad material. So i try first. If got too much drag, i might try remove some of the material.

anyway, yeah the elephant ears abit unsightly, and it does look abit big. but can see that it does provide reasonable cover, and the mounting looks nice also!

Don't think will lock up easily cos you have combined brakes...

I dunno about the price. Haha I was there that day for interview with SATS only. Doubt I'll be back there regularly haha but we can catch up anytime. After my exams!

If you don't mind night riding and maintaining top speed 160 all the way, I'm riding June 8-9, 15-16, 22-13. Genting, Cameron, Fraser's.

 

Starting off early morning to reach start of hill climb at sunrise. For Cameron I plan to be at the top of Gunung Brinchang for awesome sunrise.

 

Stay one night Saturday, start return journey after lunch Sunday, massage and dinner in Johor, before crossing back at Woodlands.

 

If don't mind, second rider can use my extra helmet with comms so we can maintain comms all the way.

price sounds about right. don't think singapore get the ABS ones yet. better to check with Mah on color and ABS lar.

 

btw shadow and maxsym totally different bikes. you just need to weigh pros and cons of both and see which fits ur needs at the moment.

ABS not brought into Singapore. You ask some bike shops they will raise eyebrows and say got such thing meh? Yes, Maxsym is perfect for touring, to me it's a fast sofa with lots of luggage space, and flies like a stool in a barfight... Or something like that.

 

Got mine from HLC, actually going with my friend to get his this Saturday morning. Will try to persuade him to get white, then when touring we'll look like two VIP escort bikes! If you want you can find us there, see whether buy two bikes got discount or not! Haha!

just a heads up

 

sym rack need to drill a hole into the tail fairing

shad rack no need to.

 

sym rack very stable. how you lean on it wont buldge an inch. if pillion lean hard on the box, most likely the box will break 1st.

 

shad rack no idea how strong is it.
