Log card n Road tax disc

Hi Guys..I'm a new rider just got my bike last week...Just 2 questions:

 

1)With regards to the Log card and the road tax disc..Am I suppose to get from the bike shop i bought from or wait for LTA to send me those 2 items. ( I bought a new 2B Bike)

 

2)To apply for season parking, wat are the necessary stuff i need to bring to apply at HDB?

if ur under installlment, the log card is woth the bike shop.. but the road tax they must give you. for season parking, mus bring IC and insurance for first tim.. subsequently u can get it from AXS

season parking i just tell them the number plate and wheer i live ,if ur place got open carpark and multistorey carpark u can choose where u want park.

i also jus gotten my bike too.

However, i've the insurance(potocopies with me) but not the road tax(which is ending in early feb).

i've check with the bike shop and they said that they have sent the road tax application. i can only collect it the next 2 wks.

they will renew it for me too.

 

have check if i'm allow to ride the bike since road tax is not with me too, and they said its ok as long as the insurance copies is with me.

does this make sense???

take a photocopy of your log card (if the original is with your bike shop), and your address proof (NRIC), to get a carpark near the place you live.

 

Log card will be kept with the bike shop if you are on COI. If payment made full and bike transferred to your name. You can get the log card + Road tax disc at LTA on the same day you transfer your bike. Road tax disc goes with the bike unless you want to renew Road Tax.

sorry to use this thread, but when we buy a bike, we received a cover note for the insurance. there is a important note stated that we need to collect the insurance certificate from the respective agents. what does this means? collecting from the bike shop or from the insurance company?

the certificate will be posted to your house !!

 

correct me if im wrong !!! cos i get one from de bike shop on de day i take de bike out , den after few weeks mitsui,send me de cert .

oh..mine is mitsui too, but why do they put this under their cover note?

"Please be informed that this cover note is issued for temprary use only and that you must exchange the cover note for the certificate of insurance from the respective agents within 14 days hereof."
