if that screw is not recess, just use a hack-saw to cut a groove. However that's not the best way because by cutting, you are destroying the head. The more you destroy, the harder it comes to removing the screw.

hmm.. dun realli get wad u mean by cutting a groove.. n dere's not enuff space to saw e screw in half.. basically e screw n nut can be destroyed one.. ha..

don't cut the screw head into half. Just create a goove or slot across the screw head to increase the contact area for use with a bigger head screw driver. Bigger contact area means better grip, so better chance of unscrewing it out.

hmm think u misunderstood.. its not dose + sign screw.. is hexagon head one..

same same lah

you have probably round off the hex head, so cut a slot and try screwing it out

u can actually just drill through it..

just remember to clean and remove the burrs in the thread later on..

aim well, else u'll need to send for rethreading besides getting a new hex nut..

cheers..

Some people measure their adventures in miles or days. I prefer "lamp posts".
