How come its so difficult to kick to netrual gear? Usually i have to play with the throttle and cluthe before i can get it.

Im riding a phantom

 

Need advise.

Check your clutch free play and your clutch cable. This happens alot now and then. You need to adjust them accordingly.

try to move in 1st gear a very short distance and try??!

TA 200'02 | JUN 2008 - JUN 2010

S4 SPEC3'07 | JUN 2010 - MAY 2012

FZ6 S2'07 | MAY 2012 - CURRENT

Had the problem with my ta200 and solved when changed my oil.

Engine oil ytd just change...still same.. try 1st gear moving den try to kick back also difficult.. giving up soon.

 

And somemore today when i kick to 1st gear and wan to move off.. it adjust back to netrual gear itself....

 

somethings must be wrong ah?

lolx.. simplify: change clutch plates..

 

Details: clutch plates has very very very fine grips, over time, wear and tear occur and they can't detach/grip properly, than you will have problem kick up neutral.. soon.. You will find that you cannot kick gear easily.. all become very hard and rough.. :)

unknown.. varies from bike to bike.. KR is est 120++.. ;)

my phantom also cannot get into neutral & hard to change gear when engine is hot or after 10 mins ride.

But when engine is cold no problem at all. Any one know how to solve?
