regarding getting a vehicle pass for me to ride into camp?

Hey anyone here can tell me how i go about getting ma vehicle pass to ride in saf camp?

do i apply from my manpower branch straight or can i take ma own defensive riding and then do wat?if can,i go for the fullday course of half day course...is both approved for military?..need to get asap..freaking from ma house.

u nd to apply thru ur S1 branch.. 100% free.. they have all the paperwork.. then after u fill up, u bring over to SSDC and book for ur defensive riding course.. its usually a halfday.. at the end of the session, u get a cert.. bring this cert back to ur S1 branch, sign a few more things, then they issue a sticker to paste on ur 11B, and this gives u the right to ride into camp.. n bring along ur DR cert at all times in case MP/RP wanna check... camp pass oso might nd a tag to indicate u riding in, depending on camp of cux.. u check wif them...

 

if u go urself n bring ur cert to ur S1 branch, u might be able to get the sticker, but they might not refund u the course fee... nt too sure on this...

 

if ur S1 branch efficient, go thru them better.. plus free... mine total took about 2 weeks.. abit slow... n dun tink of riding n park outside camp.. if anyting happen to u (touch wood), u can be charged for riding w/o gg thru the DR course..

Get the defensive riding form from the PA/GA clerk in S1 Branch, get signature from your superior and from the manpower officer. Go to SSDC and apply for defensive riding slot. You don't have to pay a single cent at the counter. Just remember to turn up.

 

Upon completion of the course, return to S1 Branch with your DRC cert and fill up your particulars in the 'Riding to SAF camp' booklet. Afterwhich they will give you the circular sticker(to be pasted on your 11B) and you're officially able to ride to all SAF camps.

The pass is tagged to your bike's plate number. If you change bike you will have to re-register that new bike with S1 again. And from experience, it's a very slow process. They took 2 months to make my bike pass even with me chasing them weekly.
