Need adivce: Bike Claims

My bike SP, FU plate rode by my sub rider got into accident. collision with a car.

 

he got witness. he was actually doing a right turn when a car which was going straight hit him.

 

witness was there and said that he was still in the right turn pocket.

 

so now the bike was towed out of the tp compound and left it in a workshop.

 

The bike totally un ride able as front is totally gone meaning the folk is detached from the body frame.

 

Sub rider got injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

 

Yesterday went to bike shop to ask their idea on claiming.

 

They said it was a losing case and said that i can actually do a individual claim.

& they said maximum can claim is $3000.

insurance company is NTUC.

 

The sub rider is a ns man thus they wan't any medical charges till now.

would there be claim for that too?

so what can i do now? go look for other shop? or just scrap the bike?

 

COE is ending coming December last.

 

Haven't know whether the other party is claiming against me.

 

SO what advice you can give me?

went to another bike shop.. they told me they would do the claim but as me to renew coe..

 

dono what to do.

If your bike have your friend name as 2nd rider. Then you will have solid case. Claim for the bike and medical.
