Hi fellow bros and sis, can anyone advise me where i could get a dent on my fuel tank remove?

I went to Ah Boy workshop to do up some accessories yesterday, came back and realised i have a dent on my S4 fuel tank.

Dun wanna assume that they did it or anything.

Cos i left my bike there and went off.

So decided to rectify this problem myself.

Any kind souls can advise?

try dry ice method but dun know whether it will work or not.

tape dry ice onto the dent part n leave it there until it's vaporized.

the ideal is the contract the metal n hopefully will reform back to original shape.

if it works, let us know.

now u will ask where to get dry ice, simple ask the ice-cream seller n buy a small piece from him.

good luck.

Olla everyone,

Dent removal or repair usually works mor for cars. Am not to sure if they will do for bikes. Finger cross.

May try this workshop specialize in dents at affordable price.

Shop located at Capitol Multi storey carpark, Level 1, Entrance.

Hi guys,

Read through the thread but not much info. Any other people have any recommendation on shops that do dent removal. I am hoping to get the dent removed without the need of respraying the tank.

As far as i know, most shops will need to 'whack' the metal. repainting will usually be required. I know of 2 workshops in UBI that do dent 'removal':

1) Dexing Motors

2) Planet Motors

As for price i forgot. i think its around SGD450 with painting.

Cheers

dug out my old post in 2011 via google

"Looking at the dent, i think no problem to knock back to 99 percent. If u go to the bike shops they will say they need to knock back by cutting the tank and respray or by pumping high pressure air into tank....blah blah at the end charge you hundreds . In the end i think they sent the tanks to this old guy at Kallang Ave...and he charges only 30 to 40 . Hope he has not retire liao"

The firm's name is Yeo Kee Hin Co. It is no longer in Kallang and has either moved or closed down.

Go check it out if the company is still ard and update here. :goodluck:

anyway, i miss wildcard.
