Is it illegal to pillion someone on a one seater krr?

Would like to know if its legal to pillion someone on a one seater 2b bike.

I have modded my Intruder to a single seater, went for 2 inspections, stopped next to rode a TP at the lights a few times. Once, the TP even commented "Look like Harley hor"

I have been stop by TP many times but never been fine. For inspection wise, i will send to shop and then they will send to STA on my behalf. Scare to go inspection alone because of my one seater.

Even a hayabusa that comes with a single sitter cowl does not pass inspection. Fyi Suzuki gave single sitter cowl as oem items to hayabusa.

 

So if a private sector inspection centre cant pass, what do u think about gov sector?

see your log card, if it says one passenger then not illegal.

Look at yur log card. Normally it the log card , it says PASSENGER CAPACITY=1, then it can take only one passenger . It does not refer to rider capacity...

XR4 rider told me his bike is single rider.. is it for all XR4 or just him in particular ?

So meaning the passenger capacity refer to only the rider or the pillion?

It means one rider, one pillion above 10 years old. 2 pax max on a bike.

And sigh.....there is no LTA or Traffic law that states that a bike, no matter how modded, cannot take a pillion.

 

I read that till now.....nobody mentioned shared seat rider and pillion bikes.....
