Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows where I could buy car cover for my OPC Chevy Aveo Hatchback? The car's colour is white & it's really a nightmare to maintain that. So I thought why not I protect it from various elements since mine's an outdoor carpark & I'll be on my bike most of the time.

Hope to get some positive response.

Thanks for your time!!!!

bro, heard that if it MAY stuck to your car, damage your paintwork if its under hot sun for very long period. do check with the sales person before buying. i checked with autobac, they dare not say it wont stick onto my car, in the end i never buy.

After u mentioned this, I made a further research seems that it is recommended to get those covers with a sort of velvet (correct me please) lining inside unlike our bike cover where its the same material in & outside. Thank you Ben for the warning. I'll just proceed on the Autobacs & hear what they have to say.

Thanks again

Yes, this is true. I suggest find a nearby MSCP. If cannot find, leave it alone.

i checked with autobac for their most expensive 1. they dare not say wont stick. i ever saw on news, people use blanket!! haha, maybe you can tailor made 1 for your car. just a joke. bro not worth it, i tell you. spend $, risking your car's paintwork. just be more hardworking, wash & wax every week or once every 2 weeks. i used to park under sun everyday for few months, its still looking shiny now, 3year car. but then i washed & wax almost every week... i never see cars covered in open carpark before, maybe thats the reason. cover is to prevent dirty, dust, bird **** not sun. good luck.

just to show you my 3year old opc car which i used to park in open for months when i only drove during weekend. meaning 5 1/2 days x 24hrs stationed there (my workplace). just wash & wax with care. pls ah, not those that you pay few dollars 1. i never let them wash before. fyi, this pic was taken, after washing 2weeks ago. cheers.

Thanks Ben & everyone here. I went to Autobacs at Bukit Batok too last Sat. Talked to one of the sales staff about car covers then I noticed that he avoided my question whether it will stick or not. So I guess it's already mentioned here.

I talked to a few friends who are into pimping up their cars & yeah they do said the similliar thing. They gave me 2 options either give a new colour paint job or live with it. For now I think I'll just deal with it lah. I mean if the car's dirty just give it a good rub & all like what I've been doing for the past year or so.

But hey thanks to everyone who contributed, I appreciate ur time. By the way Ben I love your ride. Wanna get that initially but the Madam wants a Chevy..

Cheers!

the most worried thing is not about paintwork. its those stupid human who like to scratch cars... good luck. just be more hard working... wash & wax every week or 2weeks, clay once every 2 months. the results sure worth it.
