CNY Ride to Ko SaMui

Planning but not confirm.

 

Thought of taking a ride to Ko Samui from 21st to 28th Jan 2012 as follows:

 

21st - 0800hrs or 0900hrs Morning ride to Penang(spend a nite at the Butterworth)

22nd - Ride early morning to Dongsak, take ferry to Ko Samui

23rd & 24th - Ko Samui lepak

25th - Ride to Penang (or Cameron if riders can make it)

26th - Penang/Cameron Lepak

27th - Ride for Home

28th - Hehehehehehe.....medical appointment

 

Max speed I can go is 140kmh. Need to confirm fast how many want to go so that can book accomodation.

Hi! How much does it cost to ferry the bike to koh samui by ferry?? May i check whether 2 days at koh samui is enough? i wanna go there too

Wow....i have been away and got interested kakis...

 

But need to book the hotel soon....

 

Guys, ferry from Donsak to Ko samui is 240baht per bike and rider one way so two ways will be 480 baht (extra pillion will be 140 baht one way so two ways will be 280 baht), Total distance to travel will be about 3,000kms so you have to divide by your fc eg. 3000km/16km = 187.5 litre required. Multiply by the cost of the fuel avg about RM2 per litre = RM375 (about S$250) Say about S$50.00 per nite stay so total days staying is 6 nites so will need S$300.00....Makan is around S$10 per meal so 6 days (18 meals) will be S$180...

 

So Total will be Ferry S$20 + Fuel S$250 + accomodation S$300 + Food S$180 = S$750 (bring more for massage and other entertainment)

Hi to those interested...I have made some amendments to the itinerary. I scared no more rooms at Ko Samui so I booked one for myself at Baan Rom Mai resort at Ko Samui. Those wanting to go please go in to the internet and book the same resort and let me know. The booking of the Butterworth and Penang/Cameron stay will be booked by me when all have confirmed going.

 

Please note that we will start riding to Butterworth on 21st Jan 2012 @0800hrs or 0900hrs to arrive there for dinner and a good sleep. On the the return leg, the distance from Donsak to Cameron is about 750KM and unless we leave early and ride hard, we will make it. If not Penang is the nest best place to lepak.....
