This one quite a sum, thing is they wanted you to pay back all of the months that you have worked for them.

who the heck even suggested paying for the months you have already worked?

generally is (remaining months) x (penalty factor) as stated in the contract. if nothing stated in the contract, nothing for them to fight on.

Unless you received some 'handsome signing on bonus' when you signed on the line.

Nope, not a govt bond, some small agent that loans people to bigger coys, the salary they paid us isn't even from the money the clients pay them, its from the WDA. Joining time of course la they say nice things, you yourself wouldn't think of running away because you wanted a full time long term job. You had expectations, reality turned out differently

After joining, realise coy was ****ed up, boss was a racist scumbag, treats adults like school children, fines us for using handphones in training room etc. Then comes the 'training', on paper says this and that, actuality is you get trained for a month then get sent to the workplace, there was no on job training, the client literally expects a well versed worker.

Pay raise was supposedly 'based on performance'. It gave them the chance to never increase your pay, every single time your performance would be bad no matter how good you are.

Anyone here had the displeasure of being in this situation?

So I thought to myself, better if I go find better opportunities elsewhere rather than stay here where's there's no progression, no hope of getting more pay etc.

I simply ran, I could not afford to stay any longer and collect evidence. All I have are other people who ran away as well. Thanks anyway but need people who have experienced this before or have knowledge in legal issues.

One does not simply run away from his job.

Bro, if you have the contract, you have to read it carefully. Really carefully. Commercial law is some tricky law which is not as concrete as criminal law.

PM me the name of the company, just for laughs bro.
