I thinking of getting the Z1000 or Speed Triple. As they seems not so common on the road, how's the availability of spare parts & maintenance cost like?

Thanks for the sharing. :p

You will be sorry when you see me.

Speed is not how fast you can go,

But how fast you can handle.

Ppl always think they\'re good but

It\'s others tat judge them not themselve.

with the advent of the internet, spares for anything is no longer an issue.

Otherwise, like any other cl2 bike ..... basic maintenance and consumables are all readily available.

DS, u not new biker..... dun kei kei ah..!!! hahahahahaha

Kawa local agent sux. But luckily you still have Malaysia agent for parts. ( usually 2weeks for stock to come if need order from Japan, price wise not as good as u buy online).

The next best thing is the power of Internet and oversea shipping.. But now USD quite strong. So parts bait more ex.( but maybe cheaper than Malaysia)

have owned both although early gen models.

parts not difficult to get.

and unnecessary unless *touchwood* buang.

at most wait two weeks for parts.

no prob at all.

cost is very much standard and expected of Kawa and Triumph which is a little more exensive than the other usual brands.

big bikes dont spoil easily, usually only consumables like oil filter, air filter, plugs. Well taken care of, 10 years or lifetime still original condition is possible.

Was bumping around the forum and I chanced upon this thread. Z1000 is quite a nice ride. Me too, I sold off my Spec1 in 2005 and I got myself a Class2 only last year.

Happy Chinese New Year in advance! Stay healthy and safe! :shy:

Gave Orangina a clean bath this morning to prep for the new year, so she got this "wet" look.
