Trip to Broga Hill 2012

Hi guys, am organizing a ride to Broga Hill once again.

 

Had organized one last year..and headed up on 5th Nov 2011. So am pretty familiar with the routes and things required for climbing up the Hill!

 

Date of Ride:

11th Feb 2012 (SAT)

 

Time to meet:

6am sharp

 

Place to meet at:

Under last flyer bridge before Woodlands Checkpoint (1st Link)

 

Things needed for Ride:

- Raincoat

- Cashcard (in case we return via 2nd Link)

- Touch and Go (in case we return via 2nd Link)

- Cash (S$ and MRM)

 

Things needed for the Hike

- Water Bottle (you may need to hydrate while climbing the hills)

- Sports Shoes

 

Riding Attire Requirement:

- Covered Shoes

- Atleast proper half face helmet, with CLEAR VISOR

- Long Pants (Jeans)

- Long Sleeve T-Shirt or can wear a Sweater/Jacket

 

Distance to Broga Hill (one-way)

- Approx 320km

 

Itenary for the Day:

- Leave Singapore to Broga Hill (6am -10am)

- Stop for Breakfast and Pump Petrol along the way.

- Climb Broga Hill (10am - 12pm)

- Ride to KL for Lunch (12pm - 1.30pm)

- Lunch @ KL (1.30pm - 3pm)

- OTOT @ KLCC (Walk around, Shop...Eat more) (3pm-4.30pm)

- Leave KL to Singapore (HOME) (4.30pm - 8.30pm)

Optional - Will stop in JB (Makan Dinner and Wash Bike)(8.30pm - 9.30pm)

 

Note:

Those riding 2B bikes, dont worry about the speed or what type of bikes are joining, I'll coordinate accordingly and ensure no one is left behind...so dont hesitate to JOIN in even if you ride a small bike!!

 

MOTO:

We go together, stay together, come back together!! NO one will be left behind

I had gone the first time very early at 5.45am recah alr...and started climbing, but it wasnt worth it...as I didnt even see any sunrise, too many clouds passing by. 9am - 10am would be best!! although 7 or 8am is better, but we have to be practical and cant just leave middle of the night. No one will come too.

Average riding speed is 110-120km/h

Can confirm by 8th Feb, 3 days before the ride...so can have some time just check if all is ok and ur bike is ready for the trip.
