there is alot of saying regarding installation of alarm system for ur bike... some say will hard ur CDI or PC la... shock ur wire la... or even some say will drain up ur batt...

izzit really that bad? will installing alarm system for ur bike brings up unnessary problems?

anyone here had experiance problem coz by ur alarm system??? :confused:

Chivas84: My previous alarm short-circuit my Phantom TA200 after roughly a yr of usage. No idea y though. Starter coil n many relays gone. Spent $200+ at e garage. Current alarm still doing fine. =)

i had installed alarm on my previous spec 3 for 2 years and it cause no such problem

 

Reason: i didnt tap any wire to the coil or ignition(although the instruction manuakl states must need). its only to wires that link to ur signal lights and number plate light

It depends on how the alarm is installed . Haphazard installation will definately be disaster .
