i juz tried cutting his nails, after reading the rabbits forum for the whole of last nite.. i was quite confident...

 

they taught a way called 'trancing'.

it's actually making them lie on their back. so that they will feel more comfy.

 

i tried stroking his ears and head(his fav) and cutting at the same time. but haiz, looks like he is still not used to it, can feel he is very tense.. so dun wanna hurt him further, gave him his fav snack and put him back le :mad:

i think it would be too sweet but then agian.. if its just dried. w/o any other stuff fruits should be fine... but i have tasted animal food b4 and its really bland and stuff. haha

Actually it's ok to give raisins,but of cos cannot give too much la.. Have you seen the list of food rec for rabbits in the HRSS website?? It's always to give natural food like veg,fruits and sometime even nuts rather then those funny things u buy in the pet shops.. The thing is that u dunno wat's inside also,clolring and preservatives.. I cook all the time, so I've always got veggies at home.. Parsley stem is one of Dexter's fav food,mine too.. But sadly I only have his pictures now.. Everytime I cook I will cut some veggies aside den realise that he's no longer with me.. So sad.. :weep:

haiz. I'm still having a bad nailcut experience with my labbit.

Anyway, i normally cut my rabbit front nails myself... But i need help with his hind legs.. too powerful for me to handle!hahaha..

Dear all,

 

Jepjep has passed away today to my dismay.

He wasn't drinking and eating much these days.

Was tinking of fetching him to a vet last nite, but least expected he died today... :cry:
