Dat time I went service for 12k mileage at BS. They said it wont need valve clearance unless need to. Went unique motors. They mentioned the same thing go for valve clearnace if theres a need to.. probably 45k mileage and 90mileage. Thats according to unique

I think nowadays to base on sound is quite difficult as the manufacturing tolerance is narrower. GSXR750K7 valve clearance tolerance is +-0.05mm. NC700 is +-0.02mm. Also, hear at what engine temperature and rpm? Btw, valve clearance is done on cold engine, meaning it's an overnight job.

yah engine must be cold to do it, best park overnight then next morning the

mech can start on it 1st tin in the morning. wow nowadays clearance so near ah...........

i did not try 160km/h...

constant speed of 135-140km/h ok...

but FC will drop quite a lot after you hit 130km/h...

getting about 28-30km/l when constant speed of 120-125km/h...

done with 3 boxes and 2 pax...

i have concerns over the dealership selling this bike without agent warranty/P.I, any 1 have anything to share.

from what i understand Honda track record with their engine durability have been outstanding.

Any issues with the bike "peripherals" so far, suspensions,fuel pump or injector...etc.?

As far as i know, only Looi's Motor PI this model and the 1yr warranty is directly by Looi's Motor. I see it as Looi's Motor taking the bet on the Honda's durability and quality. BTW, I got mine from them and I not too worry about this.

Lee told me warranty is 6 months or 10kkm. Usually no issue within first year due to light usage on smooth sg roads. If have, will be manufacturing defect or design problem. Anyway, PI price for this model not fantastic.
