To be honest, if this is a mess, i wouldnt waste my money consulting a law firm. Obviously money isnt a problem.. This thread is up for advice and for others to learn from and not making the same mistake.. To share our knowledge and not being conceited..

what is the purpose of having a few bike?

 

Having a weekend bike & a transport bike for example.

 

The money maintaining a transport bike is more than wat its needed to be spend if using the weekend bike for everyday use, considering fuel, rd tax, insurance, season parking, servicing, wear&tear etc.

 

unless working as a despatch rider, i dun find it practical to own more than 2 bikes.

Rather keep the money and ride my one & only favourite bike.

I dont own a weekend bike.. I buy bike, tear them apart and put it back together.. Sometimes i do testing and review products on them.. Its just my hobby..

Out of topic, but wat about buying cameras tat cost more than a bike? I think hobbies is tat, something u enjoy doing. If u can afford it, by all means. i wish i enjoy "maintaining" a bike then i can save $. Too bad i only enjoy riding!!

 

On topic: ts, hope things will be smooth for u. I ve personally never considered coi before as i think it is risky. I knew tat e written agreement wont become a legal contract in court but hope it will at least be a good evidence in ur case. Good luck!!

Im saying this again in case my previous post wasnt clear to you.. Ive already admitted that im not smart in this kind of matters but im smart in automotive engineering.. I called you a pro in "neutral gear 1" thread.. Im sure you remember what you replied.. This thread is about coi matters and advice needed in getting back the money.. In the previous deleted post, you said you were enjoying the mess im in... I was looking for advice in getting the money back if possible.. Therefore i replied, money wasnt really a problem... Another thing to clarify Ive done alot of read ups and i might have missed out some important things.. Everything was done as advice by others, but the letter of agreement cant do anything and coi wasnt legal afterall.. So i hope ive clarify all the things with you.. My apology if ive ever offended you in anyway..

Updates, not only the law firm but the police is involved as well and they classify this as cheating case.. Talked to his wife.. He earns only 1k plus... Owe telcom company, owe credit card company few thousand, owe lots of things.. Gave him installment plan but The family of 2 kids really have no money squeeze out.. Found out that the bike is sold when the bike got towed to the shop with lots of problem.. Talked to the new owner as well.. Guess he knows the bike has lots of problem..
