Rear tyre size for Suzuki DRZ400SM

Am trying to change my tyres to Michelin Pilot Powers. The smallest rear tyre size that they stock in the shops here is a 160. They cater for sports bikes more.

 

Has anyone fitted this size tyre on a stock standard 2007 DRZ400SM before? Am worried about swing arm and chain clearance.

 

The other option for me is to ask them to order in the 150 size for me coz I know that will fit since I got that on the 2006 DRZ back home.

 

I need comments from anyone who has done this before. Thanks for the help. Ride safe.

Hey thanks... I just read it before seeing your post.

 

Was wanting to change my stock tyres but these damn American bike shops have only tyres meant for big bikes... eg 180s and 190s. The smallest size for rear I saw was 160/60 which was a Michelin Pilot Power.

 

If only they had these tyres in the size I want...very tempted to try them.
