Need help buying helmet - Caberg Konda vs AGV Miglia 2

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy myself a full face/modular helmet and I've set my mind on either the Caberg Konda or the AGV Miglia 2. These two have caught my eye in terms of the budget, looks n specs n have set my mind on either only.

 

Have read reviews abt both and they seem more or less d same except for their looks and other minor details. But am looking to get opinions from you guys who own n use them so i can know more abt their pros n cons before I buy one. Areas you guys can comment could be:

 

1. Protection

2. Comfort/Fit

3. Ventilation/Airflow/Noise

4. Water tightness

5. Visibility

6. Others

 

Asked the dude at LAB for his opinion n he said to go with the AGV cos it offers better protection n brand is more popular, but don know if he's just saying it to make a sale or if it's true. So I'd appreciate it if u guys could give me your take on these. Thanks mate. Cheers!

I bought a Konda from Regina about 2 weeks ago

 

1. Protection - Awarded 5Star safety rating from UK, helmet is not PSB approved as the chin strap is not D ring, as its clip on.

2. Comfort/Fit - Very comfortable helmet, no pulling of hair feeling, make sure you buy the correct fit.

3. Ventilation/Airflow/Noise : Acceptable ventiltation but fogs easily as there is no breathe guard, wind noise insulation is bad air is rushing in at the neck roll area.

4. Water tightness - Good, maybe the helmet still new.

5. Visibility - Very clear for both clear and sun, good visibility.

6. Others - Good build quality but fogs up badly in the rain and very loud wind noise.

Overall I still prefer the made in Italy Konda vs Made in China AGV.

 

You may want to hold on your purchase and get the Konda Duke instead which replace the Konda. Hence the Konda is selling affordably for $150 to clear stock.

Hhmmm yeah but if I'm not wrong they offer d PSB approved one for another 100 bucks more.. So for now it's basically overall safety vs comfort from the noise n fogging with the konda.

 

But is the konda duke out for sale yet..?

i will definitely a the caberg konda (good quality, reasonable price).

remember, buy a caberg duke helmet

 

the caberg dule is the improvment version of the caberg konda (double certification). :-) !
