Gilera Runner - FAQ 2012

Hi guys,

 

I hope someone can help me on this and also start a thread here as well.

 

i just bought a Gilera Runner VXR 200. Just wanna know:

 

1) How often should you service?

 

2) What should you service (the basic necessities)?

 

3) And regarding the belt drive, how should you go about maintaining/service it?

1) Depends on wat service you wanna do normal service or full service.

2a) Normal service - Engine oil, Oil Filter...

2b)Full Service - Engine oil, Oil filter, Rollers, U Clip, Belt, Coolant, Gear Oil, Cleaning of Carburetor & Cleaning of Transmission Area.

2c) Additional stuff servicing and lubing of your ur transmission parts such as clutch and gears.

3) 5000 - 6500miles if you are scared, if not 6500-7500miles
