Just bought a 2nd hand bike from shop, fully paid. As a new rider, didn't really know what to ask and check and was just eager to ride off. After that then realized the shop didn't give me stuff like road tax disc and vehicle log card. Only got a piece of paper for insurance. Is that normal? Because I thought need to display road tax? Is the piece of insurance proof of my ownership? Where can I check that the bike is really transfered under my name?

Thanks!

Got the IU Unit? Got enough petrol in your tank? Tyres, brake pads, engine oil, cables, spark plugs are all nicely new?

Yes everything is working fine. Just unsure of the paperworks regarding motorbikes.

U can login to e-services at http://www.onemotoring.com with your singpass to check the vehicle ownership status, then print one copy for your own reference. Or wait for the letter from LTA saying that u are now the registered owner of that bike, it should arrive within 2 weeks from the date of ownership transfer.

Ah ok so there's a official letter from LTA. I'll wait for the letter then. Thanks for the info!
