XR650

Hi ppl,

 

Not sure if this had been asked before, sorry if it had been but anyhow...here it goes.

 

Been toying with the idea of getting a 650cc dirt wrecker, so the good old "Red winger" came to my mind...Does anyone know the OTR price of a new XR 650? And if I were to fix on some road tyres, super-motard style, i think...will any shop allow the swop without extra charges?

I don't think there are anymore new XR650s in the showrooms. There are a couple on sale on the 2nd hand market, but prices are sky high.

 

No. I seriously don't think any shop will agree to a 1-to-1 swap for the wheels, unless you have a special relationship with them. Motard wheelsets are not cheap. I'm sure you are aware of that.
