Not really carrot..my fren got cheaper but its bcos he also bought Alpinestars suit, gloves, boots. SO I can say the helmet is well priced..

Get chopped means buying at a higher price than anyone else..

 

Blur vision?? Previous posts on blur vision is regarding the tear-offs..unless u're talking about high speed..

Hey guys,need some comments.

 

I just passed my 2B,went over to Regina and got a AGV AirTech Solid white for $320.So here's the question....Did I get ripped off??

 

I was actually intending to buy a Shoei TZ-R,which was the lowest range shoei priced at 350,but the shop owner Darren was like "Why do you want to pay that price for something that is not good,heavier,less Ven and he started ranting on and on about AirTech,...really placed alot of effort into selling me this AGV...Either he's really friendly knowledgeable or he really wants to get rid of a helmet range that doesn't sell well or getting old.

 

So did I?get ripped off?

 

Checked online,there was an ebay selling at 90pounds=$195, but other websites are like 129pounds=$295+ All excluding shipping.

After much sales talk n trying, bought the Gp Tech. Nvr even gt the chance to try out the X-11 cos he say try Gp Tech first. Later found out the special price given was not special after all...

Actually there are some sellers sellin cheap...but must source out for them.Like hidden pockets of discounts and bundles.

 

I got My AirTech at 320,Darren mentioned that bcoz of Sg bikers week,they lowered the price if not then it'll revert to 400plus next time.He really sounded sincere huh?Don't know whether kanna 'carrot"

 

But Heck you know what,I've rcvd positive feedback from all my company despatch riders that AGV rocks and my white AitTech looks good despite being TP color.

Haha, after an accident recently decided to change to a ff helmet. Wednesday went to motoworld then regina, found out that agv is best to my liking. Bargain up to 300 bucks for a solid color airtech. But since i new to the ff concept, rejected the offer & came back do more research online.

 

Unlike S-4 or Stealth, i unable to find the model airtech in agv.com. So i worried whether if its describtion is in another name/model or a defective model? However i told its psb approved. Any bros know more about this?

Airtech is ok..if you wanna use it for track, make sure its snug fit and not comfortably fitting..for normal road use than otherwise.

YEs its squeezy on the ears area..u noe why?? Cos there's no cavity for the ears..U may find that ur helmet now is snug fit..but if u go to track..its kinda loose..juz like wat my fren encountered wit his Airtech..

i'm using an agv stealth. helmet is snug fit and its quite troublesome to wear specs due to the limited ear space. anyone encounter this problem?

i'm using specs with straight legs (e.g.) instead of the hook types... can put on/remove from the front vision hole easily with helmet on. for more comfort, try placing legs just above the folded ears its a hassle but i don't like contact lenses
